On 'teenage' fiction
I'm a little embarrased to be a teenager now...
See, I went to Barnes&Nobles earlier and while I was in the teenagers area to find a new series fix, I noticed that almost all the books had something to do with the occult. Vampires, witches, demons...
Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with the occult. What I find deppressing is that this is what our parents are seeing of the interests of the future leaders of the world.
Oh¡! And for curiosities sake I checked out middle school books too.
Most of them were about mythology and seemed to have a much more innocent vibe to them than the ones only 3 years ahead...
